Studies have shown that a single carpet can host up to 10,000,000 dust mites, mainly of the species Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, D. farinae, and Euroglyphus maynei. These mites produce microtoxins and waste daily, which—due to their microscopic size—can enter the lungs, causing asthma, allergies, and skin irritations.
Furthermore, dead mites serve as food for mold and pathogenic microorganisms, perpetuating the cycle of contamination and polluting the air in our homes.
Carpet Bio-Sanitation
To achieve a complete carpet cleaning and bio-sanitation, we follow two specialized methods. Before starting any procedure, a sample is taken from the carpet surface. This allows the customer to see with their own eyes the presence of microorganisms, while we assess the extent of contamination to tailor the cleaning process to the needs of the space.
The first method is Bio-Sanitation, which involves the mechanical removal and extraction of live and dead dust mites, as well as their waste, deeply embedded in the carpet pile. This process is carried out using the innovative cleaning system from the American brand Kirby, equipped with HEPA filters that capture 99.99% of allergenic particles. Through high-frequency micro-vibrations and strong suction, fungi, bacteria, dust, hairs, and dead skin cells are also removed.

Biological Carpet Cleaning
The second method involves Biological Cleaning, which focuses on surface-level removal of dirt and tough stains such as mud, blood, vomit, urine, and greasy substances. The process uses state-of-the-art washing and rinsing machines, applying controlled high-pressure water spray along with hypoallergenic, biodegradable cleaning agents featuring microsplitting technology, ensuring a thorough clean without chemical residues.
For maximum safety and hygiene, we use active oxygen and eco-friendly, neutral pH cleaners that are non-toxic and certified for their effectiveness. Our equipment, such as the Santoemma system, offers a unique cleaning capability without damaging the surface. All our procedures are designed with respect for the environment, protecting water sources and ensuring clean, safe indoor spaces.
